To Halifax

Book early to get the best deal! Use the following resources to save even more:

Airline cancellation, refund and change policies vary depending on the airline booked and the fare type purchased. It is best to check with your airline or our travel agency directly for clear and up-to-date information.

From the airport

Taxis

Taxis at the airport will take you directly to the Convention Centre or your hotel. The cost is approximately $55. They accept Debit/Visa/Mastercard and cash.

Public transit

Halifax Transit is also an option. The fare is $4.25 for adults/students and $3 for children/seniors (65+). Exact cash fare is required. The bus will drop you at Scotia Square Mall, which is a 5-minute walk to the Convention Centre/hotels.

Group shuttles

Travelling with a group? Consider booking an airport shuttle through the following provider: 

Woods Limousine: Service is provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The following prices assume moderate luggage, include taxes and an $8 airport pick-up levy. Driver gratuity is not included and left to the discretion of passengers. 

  • Lincoln Sedan – $75 (comfortable for 2 or 3)
  • Lincoln SUV – $125 (comfortable up to 5)
  • 7 Passenger Ford Transit – $125 (comfortable up to 7 with luggage)
  • 14 Passenger Van – $175 (comfortable up to 8 with luggage)

Note for city travel: The cost for Halifax Transit within the city is $2.75 for adults and $2 for seniors. It is cash only or you can purchase tickets from Lawtons Drug Store or Shoppers Drug Mart in books of 10 for $24.75.
