Pre-Annual Meeting Webinar 

Our pre-Annual Meeting webinar is a great way to get ready for the conference. Join CHF Canada staff as we walk through the schedule for each day and answer any questions you may have about the Annual Meeting.

If this is your first Annual Meeting, you won’t want to miss it. If you’ve been to the Annual Meeting before, you’ll find helpful information about the new schedule and can share your meeting tips with others.

CMC Networking Dinner  

June 14, 6:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m.

This optional dinner at Lowertown Brewery, 73 York Street, Ottawa is a great opportunity for informal sharing of ideas and experiences with other co-op staff and managers. CMC Plenary and Brunch

June 15, 9:00 a.m.–10:30 a.m.

Join us as we open the first full day of the Co-operative Management Conference. We’ll hold elections for two positions on the Co-op Managers Reference Group and hear updates on important issues. Over brunch, you will have the chance to catch up and connect with co-op managers and staff from across Canada.


Welcome Reception

Sightseeing and Co-op Tour

Ottawa – there’s no better place to be in June. The weather’s warm and the flowers and trees are in full bloom. Come and join us to experience Ottawa through the eyes of a local and see the important sights. We’ll stop for a picnic dinner (to suit any dietary restriction) in Vincent Massey Park, just down the Rideau River where the water comes tumbling down Hog’s Back Falls. See the best of Ottawa including a visit to a local co-op.

Co-op Staff and Workshop Leaders Reception

June 15, 7:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m.

If you’re a co-op manager or staff person, you won’t want to miss this chance to catch up with your colleagues.  This casual reception will be held in the Quebec Suite of the Chateau Laurier at 1 Rideau Street, Ottawa (5 minutes walk from the Shaw Centre).

Plenary Breakfast

If you’re a young member, be sure to drop by the Young Member Meet-up on Friday evening. You’ll have a chance to catch up with friends and meet other young members and staff from across Canada.

Night at the Museum (local social)

June 16, 7:30 p.m.–11:00 p.m.

You’ve just spent two days in workshops – come and dance the night away at an iconic Ottawa location, the Museum of Nature! Enjoy some tasty bites and drinks (cash bar), and watch the sun set. You’ve earned it! Socialize with your fellow co-operators, test your knowledge of local landmarks, events and co-op history to win some great prizes.
