The Member Education Forum and Co‑operative Management Conference offer a wide range of workshops for members and managers of housing co‑ops. Learn from interactive sessions on cutting edge issues central to Canada�s co‑op housing movement.

The Member Education Forum offers a great range of workshops to support co‑ops to be healthy communities and healthy businesses. This year, there is also a special stream of workshops dedicated to exploring ideas and themes that have emerged from CHF Canada�s member consultation �Our Movement, Our Future: Voicing our Vision�.

The Co-operative Management Conference is continuing its partnership with the Institute of Housing Management (IHM) and will present the �Property and building administration for property managers� course. There are also two IHM elective courses: �Make the connection with your community� and �Emergency response planning: Is your co‑op ready?�

DEADLINES FOR RESOLUTIONS, ELECTIONS AND AWARDS

Several deadlines are approaching for items related to CHF Canada�s Annual Meeting.

• March 13 is the last day to submit Resolutions for consideration and voting by the delegates at the national business meeting and at the Ontario members� meeting.
• March 31 is the nomination deadline to run for positions on CHF Canada�s Board of Directors, Ontario Council and the Finance and Audit Committee.
• April 1 is the deadline to nominate your co‑op (or another co op) for CHF Canada�s Award for Co-operative Achievement and $2,500 to be presented at the Annual Meeting.

As every Canadian knows, Niagara Falls boasts one of the most spectacular scenes imaginable. All that water rushing over rocks and sending huge sprays of mists up into the air is a sight to behold. Nestled below the Niagara Escarpment, vineyards and orchards dot the charming countryside between the shores of Lake Ontario and the Niagara River Parkway, which Winston Churchill called �the prettiest Sunday afternoon drive in the world.�
