Part of the Virtual Member Education Forum (V-MEF) Webinar Series: June 15 – 30, 2020
Where to Start: Building Envelope Repairs – WEBINAR
1:00 – 2:30 pm ET
Your co-op’s building envelope consists of its roof, subfloor, exterior doors, windows and exterior walls. The building envelope keeps outside elements such as water and moisture from entering and causing damage.
This webinar will take a deeper look at building envelopes and developing strategies to help us properly care for our co-ops at the minimum cost. We will discuss materials used, common signs of failure and factors to consider when renewal takes place.
We will talk about Building Condition Assessment and discuss how to prioritize repairs with your capital plan.
