COVID-19 and Newfoundland housing co-ops

Updated March 1, 2022

Newfoundland has recently announced they are easing restrictions between now and March 14, 2022, at which time all restrictions will be lifted although continued use of masks is strongly recommended.  If required, this phase may be paused; co-ops should continue to monitor current restrictions.

There will continue to be cases of COVID-19 in Newfoundland, and you should maintain steps to help protect yourself and your community.  Get vaccinated, stay at home if you feel sick, self-isolate when required; and maintain everyday healthy habits. These steps will also help protect you and others from other respiratory illnesses like the flu and colds.

Co-ops can continue to check out our main Housing Co-ops and COVID-19 page which contains more updates with a comprehensive set of FAQs, and CHF Canada co-op staff are here to help you with your questions about co-op operations.
