Tim Ross (he/him)

Tim Ross is the Chief Executive Officer of the Co-operative Housing Federation of Canada, the national voice and platform for co-operative housing. He is widely recognized for advancing large-scale, non-market housing solutions and for shaping the policy and capital frameworks needed to deliver permanently affordable co-operative homes at scale.

Under his leadership, CHF Canada has secured significant reinvestment and funding to expand and sustain permanently affordable co-operative housing through aligned policy, capital, and sector capacity, grounded in a commitment to housing as a fundamental human right.

He previously served as founding President of the Community Housing Transformation Centre and as an inaugural appointee to the National Housing Council. He currently serves on the boards of several social purpose companies, including Encasa Financial, Boann Social Impact, and the Community Housing Management Network, helping to shape the future of Canada’s housing system.
