With more than 35 years of dedicated service to Canada’s co‑operative housing sector, Karen has consistently advanced sustainable growth, community empowerment, and innovative development strategies. Her career reflects a longstanding commitment to supporting the stability and evolution of co‑operative communities, while championing forward‑looking approaches fostering national expansion and long‑term sector resilience. Karen currently serves as board director with Compass Ontario Homes, Tidal Bay Community Land Co-operative and Ottawa Co-operative Village. Karen holds a Master of Management, Co-operatives and Credit Unions from Saint Mary’s University, where she completed her thesis on scale within housing co‑operatives.
