Advocating for Community
Caroline Co-op was established in 2024, when the tenants fundraised to purchase the building from the landlord and convert it from market rentals to non-profit ownership. Caroline Co-op has 21 units, a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom units, rented to members at affordable rates, including a portion of units offered at rental assistance rates subsidized through the City of Hamilton.
