On March 18th, 2019, Courtney Lockhart joined CHF Canada as Program Manager, Policy and Government Relations. She will be working out of CHF Canada’s Ottawa office.
Courtney is originally from Lethbridge, Alberta and moved to Ottawa to attend graduate school at Carleton University. She completed her Master of Arts in Political Science in 2015 and began working at a government relations consultant firm. Courtney looks forward to relying on her advocacy skills and sound political judgement to promote co-op housing across Canada.
“I’m excited to be a part of the solution to the current housing crisis,” says Courtney, “so all people can have good-quality, long-term affordable housing.”
Courtney brings with her recent experience volunteering on many political campaigns, at the federal, provincial and municipal level.
Courtney is an avid reader and podcast listener. In her spare time, she likes to make time to practice yoga, and will be a certified hatha yoga teacher by May 2019.
