Diversity scholarships awarded to young co-op leaders

- In Manitoba, recipient Adrianna Penton (top photo) from Carpathia Housing Co-op has been active in her co-op and with the Rady Jewish Community Center Day camps as a volunteer. She will be studying kinesiology at the University of Winnipeg. This scholarship sponsored by Assiniboine Credit Union and The Co-operators, as well as housing co-op and community sponsors.
- In Nova Scotia, Mikaila Borden (bottom photo) from Needham Housing Co-op started a young member group at her co-op. She also volunteers with children at the YMCA Center for Immigrants, tutors French at the North Branch Library and volunteers at the IWK Health Center. This scholarship is sponsored by The Co-operators, Bluenose Engineering, and the Community Housing Management Network.
