Applications open for 2022 Greener Co-op Microgrants

Want to know how you can make your housing co-op greener?  The online application process for 2022 Greener Co-op Microgrants is now open until noon, Eastern Time, April 4, 2022.

In 2021, CHF Canada gave out a total of $121,253 in Greener Co-op Microgrants, allowing 29 co-ops across the country to undertake small projects that promote sustainability.

What kind of projects can be funded?

Last year, there were 13 community garden initiatives, four LED lighting replacements, one composter initiative, two bike storage projects, three tree planting initiatives, one electric charging station installation, one exterior smart plug project, one clothesline installation, one green wall, one water conservation initiative and one smart water heater project.
