Let’s get our Ontario co-op youth to camp (for free!) this summer

Co-operative Young Leaders (CYL) is a summer experience unlike any other!

Every year, youth living in Ontario housing co-ops are chosen to spend a week at CYL camp. Some return and get more involved in their co-op and in the broader co-op community – like CHF Canada board director Sarah Jensen!

CYL Camp is held at the Co-operative Education Centre in beautiful Aylmer, Ontario. Enjoy campfires, swimming, hikes in the woods and learning about all things co-op.

Camp dates for 2022:

• Visionaries (Ages 17-18) – Saturday, July 9 – Friday, July 15
• Trailblazers (Ages 15-16) – Sunday, July 17 – Friday, July 22
• Explorers A (Ages 13-14) – Sunday, July 24 – Friday, July 29
• Explorers B (Ages 13-14) – Sunday, July 31 – Friday, August 5

• complete the CYL Sponsorship application
• Get a letter of recommendation from your co-op (required)
• Mail or email your application  and your letter of recommendation by June 10, 2022 to:

Your application will be entered in the CHF Canada’s all-Ontario Sponsorship draw. Youth whose names are selected will have their complete registration fees for CYL paid for by their sponsors. A mileage/travel allowance to the Co-operative Education Centre, Aylmer, ON will also be provided by your sponsor.
