Major milestone for building new co-op homes: Co-operative Housing Development Program opens first application round – July 15 to September 15

Last month, we celebrated the launch of the $1.5 billion Co-operative Housing Development Program, the largest federal investment in co-op housing development in over 30 years!

Since then, CMHC has hosted several online information webinars explaining the program to several hundred interested participants including co-op members, sector organizations, municipalities and developers.

The first application window opens July 15 and closes September 15. To find out more about whether your project is ready to apply, please refer to CMHC’s Required Documentation Checklist.
