    6:00-7:00PM EST New CHF Canada members are invited to participate in our monthly Membership Call! This live webinar is designed to help you get the most of your CHF Canada membership. You’ll learn about member benefits, service offerings, events, and more. Participants also have the chance to exchange ideas in an open discussion forum and network with other members. Though this call is geared towards new members, all are welcome. It’s a great opportunity to refresh your knowledge of your membership benefits, ask questions and to hear from members of our co-op housing community. These are free events, hosted on Zoom. Registration is required.

This event features workshops led by industry experts who will share practical guidance on accessing funding and programs to cut energy costs, explore keeping homes safe and sound through a risk management program and long-term plans for housing repairs, and explore future possibilities for mergers and acquisition. You’ll gain a clear understanding of available incentives, actionable steps for planning upgrades, and strategies to improve long-term performance. We’re also thrilled to welcome greetings from Ottawa sector partners who champion innovation and sustainability in co-op housing. Advocating for Community

Caroline Co-op was established in 2024, when the tenants fundraised to purchase the building from the landlord and convert it from market rentals to non-profit ownership. Caroline Co-op has 21 units, a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom units, rented to members at affordable rates, including a portion of units offered at rental assistance rates subsidized through the City of Hamilton.
