WE RESOLVE:

• THAT CHF Canada adopt an interpretive statement, especially for Canada’s housing co-ops, of the Blueprint for a Co-operative Decade, a defining set of five elements that distinguish co operatives from other forms of enterprise, as adopted by the members of the International Co-operative Alliance;
• THAT CHF Canada’s members be encouraged to adopt the interpretive Blueprint statement, and apply it within the context of our movement’s 2020 Vision values;
• AND THAT CHF Canada work with member housing co-ops, with regional co-operative housing federations, and with other service providers in our movement to promote an understanding of the Blueprint’s elements and their relevance to co-operative housing in Canada.
