Join CHF Canada
CHF Canada is dedicated to supporting housing co-operatives across Canada. With over 900 housing co-ops as members from across the country, CHF Canada offers a wide range of programs and services designed to benefit your co-op or organization.
Membership provides access to expert advice and assistance from CHF Canada’s experienced staff, valuable resources and educational opportunities, professional development for co-op staff, political advocacy, and much more.
Membership Categories and Dues
Membership dues are approved by members every year at the National Business Meeting. The CHF Canada membership dues rates for 2025 are below.

| Student Housing Co-operative | $10.00 per bed, per year | |
| Co-operative under development | $143 per year. Once the co-op is occupied and no longer in development, the dues rate will adjust based on the number of units, and the member will move to housing co-op member category. | |
| Federations and Associations | Federations and Associations that support and serve Housing Co-operative | $379 per year |
| Service Organization | Organizations that primarily serve Housing Co-operatives; such as management companies, resource groups and land trusts. | $379 per year |
Taxes, regional levies, sector support fees, federation dues and discounts may be applied according to your location.

Associates are not Members of CHF Canada and do not have the right to vote or to hold office.
