Last week, CHF Canada’s Board of Directors approved a virtual AGM for June 13, 2020, in place of the recently cancelled Halifax meeting.
CHF Canada deeply respects the rights of its members to meet annually. In order to do this safely, we will do so virtually, in a manner that is permitted by the Canada Co-operatives Act.
The plan is to hold both Ontario and national business meetings as web-based meetings with shortened agendas: audit, budget, elections and resolutions (including one finalizing the governance changes approved by members last year).
Registration will be free. Please ensure your co-op saves the date and registers a voting delegate to have your say and ensure we achieve quorum. Stay tuned for details and registration information to come in the weeks ahead.
