Bring your leadership skills to CHF Canada!

Please note: the deadline for nominations has been extended to April 30th, 2020.

CHF Canada is looking for qualified people to run for positions on our Board of Directors, Finance and Audit Committee, and Ontario Council.

Before each year’s Annual General Meeting (AGM), regional elections are held for positions on CHF Canada’s Board of Directors.

At the AGM itself, elections are held for at-large positions on the Board of Directors, and on the Finance and Audit Committee. And at the Annual Meeting of Ontario Members, elections are held for positions on the Ontario Council. This year’s AGM will be held in Halifax, Nova Scotia, June 11–13, 2020.

Positions up for election in 2020

1. Regional Director (Board of Directors, three-year terms)

• Alberta/Northwest Territories
• Saskatchewan
• Manitoba
• Ontario
• Nova Scotia
• Prince Edward Island
• Newfoundland/Labrador

Co-ops in these regions will elect their regional director by using an electronic voting system, and will be contacted separately about how to vote.

2. At-large Director (Board of Directors, three-year terms)

• Five (5) at-large positions

Elected at the AGM in Halifax

3. Finance and Audit Committee

• One (1) two-year position

Elected at the AGM in Halifax

4. Ontario Council (one position, three-year term)

• Council member representing Northern Ontario

Co-ops eligible to vote for this position will elect their council member by using an electronic voting system, and will be contacted separately about how to vote.
