Did you know that CHF Canada offers management scholarships that can help you improve as a co-op manager? You can apply if you’re a member, director or employee of a CHF Canada member co-op.
Here are the 2019 CHF Canada Management Scholarship recipients:
Name: Renata Teague
Role: Senior Executive Assistant, COHO Management Services Society
Educational program: Business Management Certificate, Simon Fraser University
“The CHF Canada Management scholarship will help me with my continuous development and improving my proficiency while working within the co-operative housing sector.”
Name: Sandra Pulido
Role: Housing Co-ordinator, Mountain City Housing Co-operative and Dundas Co-operative Housing
Educational program: Canadian Institute of Bookkeeping Certificate, Mohawk College
“By improving my financial and accounting skills, I will also be able to better assist the board of directors in the financial planning and decision making process as well as effectively manage the finances of the housing co-operatives I work for.”
Name: Jeannine O’Hara
Role: Member, La Petite Maison Housing Co-op
Educational program: Supplemental Licenced Rental Property Manager, UBC Sauder School of Business
