The Co-operators offers discounts and rebates on Group Benefits and AutoGuard during COVID-19

Published May 13, 2020

The Co-operators wants to help ease financial challenges that housing co-op staff and members may be facing.

For those using CHF Canada’s Group Benefits Program, they are reducing the premiums on insured Dental and Extended Health Care benefits by offering a credit of 50% on the Dental premium and 10% on the Extended Health premium, which includes prescription drugs. Their desire is to support staff during this time when fewer medical and dental services are available.  These adjustments will be applied to the April and May premiums, and will show up on the May billing as a premium adjustment.

If your automobile is insured with AutoGuard, you can easily apply for a Reduced Driving Refund online. Don’t worry, you have until August 31 to apply online.

It’s as simple as it sounds! With our new Reduced Driving Refund, eligible Co-operators Group Auto Insurance clients* will receive a minimum 10% refund on the premium they paid from April 1 to May 31.

* The Reduced Driving Refund is only available to clients who have purchased The Co-operators auto insurance product where available, which excludes British Columbia, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
