Meet our new Communications Coordinator, Lee Pepper
Published February 07, 2018
In December 2017, Lee Pepper joined CHF Canada in the newly-created role of Coordinator, Communications. Previously, Lee worked as the Member Services Co-ordinator for the Co-operative Housing Association of Eastern Ontario (CHASEO).
Lee, who is trans and uses the gender-neutral pronoun “they”, considers themself an avid housing nerd. They are a board member with the non-profit housing provider Centretown Citizens Ottawa Corporation, have assisted the Alliance to End Homelessness Ottawa with communications projects, and serve on the advisory committee for a group studying and working to end LGBTQ2S homelessness in Ottawa.
When they aren’t working on housing issues, Lee enjoys creative writing, learning about LGBTQ2S history, and cooking for their friends.
Lee will be working from CHF Canada’s Ottawa office, and looks forward to collaborating with co-op members across the country.
