On July 3, 2018, Patricia Tessier joined CHF Canada as its new Director, Member Services.
In this role, Patricia will oversee CHF Canada’s co-operative services, enterprise services, education, and events, including the Annual Meeting, spring member forums and regional education events.
The Director, Member Services role replaces the Director, Sector Development position formerly held by Karla Skoutajan, who retired in June 2018. This new role will allow CHF Canada to continue to meet CHF Canada members’ changing needs and to work towards our Vision for the Future of the Co-operative Housing Movement in Canada.
Patricia’s most recent role was Vice-President of Organizational Effectiveness at the Ottawa Community Housing Corporation, where she was a key member of the executive team overseeing the organization’s $2.7 billion portfolio of 15,000 homes. She brings expertise in community housing, service delivery, and construction and property management.
“I’m excited to work at a national level, and I’m looking forward to meeting members and working together with government and housing partners,” Patricia said, “I’m a dreamer, and I believe anything is possible.”
Tim Ross, CHF Canada’s Executive Director, commented, “On behalf of our members, we welcome Patricia to CHF Canada. We look forward to working with her to inspire, represent, and serve our members, and to support and grow Canada’s co-operative housing movement.”
Patricia also enjoys volleyball, swimming, and spending time with her three sons.
She will be working from CHF Canada’s Ottawa office.
